IN BRIEF
Since I can remember I am interested in understanding everything. I am an astronomer and science communicator.
I graduated in Physics from the Universidad de La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain) in 2004, and received the MSc and PhD degrees from the Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (Puebla, Mexico) in 2007 and 2011, respectively. I am currently an associate researcher in the Stars and Interstellar Medium Department at the Instituto de Astronomía, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (in Mexico City).
In addition, I also spend much time and energy in trying to engage people to science. I wantto show that science is fun, interesting and useful; and a very powerful tool to change our present and our future. I finished a master in Science Communication from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) that has provided me important theoretical and practical knowledge.
When I am not doing something related to science, I like reading, eating ice cream, walking in Coyoacan, doing yoga, going to the cinema and theater, swimming at the beach and play with Anequi.
