Welcome to my website! I am a researcher (Investigadora Asociada) in the Stars and Interstellar Medium Department of the Instituto de Astronomía at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City. My research focuses mainly on the study of the chemical composition of planetary nebulae and H II regions. The chemical abundances of these ionized nebulae help us to understand the production of elements in stars and the chemical evolution of galaxies. I am also involved in several projects of science popularization (because I like it and because I think it is very important) with the aim of bring science closer to the society.
